Juquasia Robinson has a master’s degree majoring in Social Work. She has been in the Clinical Social Work field since 2014 interning and working in various settings. Juquasia has experience in child welfare, mobile crisis, substance use and recovery services with all age groups in various settings. Juquasia has provided mental health services at a substance use agency and has also worked with young adults in foster care 18-21years of age, provided with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy) skills to assist with the transition into adulthood, worked in In-Home Services to implement preventive measures in attempt to alleviate the risk of foster care, and worked with individuals with both suicidal and homicidal ideations.
Juquasia believes in creating a safe space for clients to express all ranges of emotions. Juquasia is under clinical residency to focus on Person-centered, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral therapy at present, and is open and eager to learn and expand her style in supervision with various therapy modalities. Juquasia is relatable, understanding, passionate, and is culturally sensitive.
Her goals are to experience all facets of clinical social work and advance as a Resident Therapist in private practice to assist clients in their challenging times.
